About
Philosopher of design and digital world, Stéphane Vial teaches at the Ecole Boulle and the Sorbonne University Paris 1. Researcher at the Institute ACTE (UMR 8218) directed by Professor Bernard Darras, he is the author of the "Short Treatise of Design" (French University Press, 2010), already translated into Swedish and Korean soon.
He teaches User Interface Design and Project management within the "Multimedia & Interactivity" Master Program at the Sorbonne University Paris 1. Involved in the Web since 2003, he is the founder and creative director of LEKTUM, a digital content studio specialising in Drupal content management system for art, culture, research and non-profit websites.
He is also a fellow of the french researchers group “Observatoire des Mondes Numériques en Sciences Humaines” (OMNSH), and of the professional group *designers interactifs*
