About
I am a French Historian of Art and I am now based in both London and Paris.
My PhD dissertation examines the question of light as an emerging medium in Contemporary Art and my post-doctoral research has focused on merging the art historical perspective(s) with my scientific background in visual electrophysiology.
I have published a series of articles based on my doctoral work in peer-reviewed books, Les lumières de la ville: vers une (ré-)appropriation nocturne de l’espace urbain (2005), Indexed Lights (2007), Towards Urban Oneirism, a new approach to Light in the City (2007),The use of light as an environmental tracer (2007), When memory becomes visible (2008), Le passeur de lumière (2008) and La lumière, un agent particulier sur les terres de l’histoire de l’art contemporain (2009).
I am currently lecturing the History of Contemporary Art at the Institut de Gestion Sociale in Paris, where I have developed a new Master’s degree in Art, creativity and entrepreneurship – first intake September 2009
